The problem
Budgeting apps show people numbers but never change behaviour. The gap is psychology, not arithmetic: users need a plan that adapts to their real income and habits.
The approach
- 01Mapped the onboarding into a short guided flow that captures income, fixed bills and goals without feeling like a form.
- 02Built a plan engine that turns those inputs into allocations, then re-scores them as the month moves.
- 03Layered auth, persistence and dashboards on top so returning users pick up exactly where they left off.
The result
End-to-end product shipped solo: onboarding, engine, dashboards, auth.
